You play from the first-person perspective (FPP) on open, expansive maps. Teams either fight directly against each other or tactically set traps. The maps give you the freedom to choose your approach: either fast and risky or defensive and tactical. You can expect:
Realistic equipment: In addition to weapons such as assault rifles and pistols, you can use smoke and stun grenades, Molotov cocktails, traps and even drones. Dynamic environments: Each map has weather effects such as rain or snow as well as a realistic day/night cycle that influences gameplay. Communication and navigation: GPS helps you find your way, while radios allow you to coordinate with your team.
Exfil currently offers two main modes:
Extraction Teams must make their way to a crashed helicopter, secure the data located there and successfully extract it. The aim is to avoid or eliminate other teams. *Rogue mode Here, one team starts with the data and must transport it safely across the map while all other teams try to stop them.
The game not only simulates combat, but also the challenges of a realistic war environment. At night, the darkness is so deep that night vision devices are essential, and heavy armor reduces the damage from projectiles. So it's not just about reflexes, but about preparation and strategy.
The game is purely multiplayer based. You can play with others via the Internet or LAN. The open structure of the maps and the ability to create your own rules and servers provide endless customization possibilities.
