Here's an honest review. To start, I usually host servers on my dedicated server I have, but since it was for a game I hadn't hosted for before(Necesse) I decided to try out Shockbyte. This turned out to be a mistake entirely. To start, when I first started out it had put two Necesse servers in my cart when I only added it once, so I opened a ticket got a response to that it seemed like an error and they would cancel it. This sounded great and was relatively quickly, but then I got no response and when I asked for an update I was simply told that I would have to cancel it from renewing, but more or less I was stuck with two after being told they would cancel one. Then, after a couple days the server kept stalling out, and when I went to try to restart it, it wouldn't start and won't let me kill the server to start it up. This server is still in the process of "starting" over 3 days later. I switched it over to my dedicated server and have had zero issues since, which I probably should have done from the start. Definitely steer clear of Shockbyte. If you inform Shockbyte about these issues, you'll get the standard "we're sorry to hear about this" response.
