When will Battlefield 2042 be released?

On October 22, 2021, Battlefield 2042 will finally have its official release. Experience incredible battles with up to 128 players on your NextGen console and rush into the danger zone with your fellow players.

What sets Battlefield 2042 apart?

Battlefield 2042 is set in a world where the two remaining superpowers go to war against each other. Special is the new multiplayer, which allows 128 players to take part in a battle (only on NextGen console).

Also, there is a new soldier type with the Specialist. By choosing different equipment you can create synergies in your squad. You can find more information about this on the website.

You can also access an arsenal of state-of-the-art weapons and vehicles to experience a new gameplay experience. In addition, you'll be able to perform other action-packed actions, such as using a wingsuit, summoning a robot dog for battle, or reviving squad members from a distance using a squirt gun.

What platforms will Battlefield 2042 be available on?

Battlefield will be available on XBOX One, XBOX Series X|S, Playstation 4 and Playstation 5, and for PC via Steam, Origin and the Epic Games Store.
