Games during the Christmas season
Dec 2, 2020
Wintertime is gaming time! The days are shorter and the desire to save the (virtual) world from the couch at home increases.
Gambling in the Christmas season - these games will be released in December.
The question that stands above everything here: which games will be current in December 2020? Where is it worth taking a look?
A look at the current list of many leading game developers shows that the end of the year will definitely not be boring. The following games are likely to make the hearts of gamer fans of various genres beat faster.
Empire of Sin
Fancy an exciting strategy game? Then it might be worth giving Empire of Sin a chance. This game will be available from December 1st and will take the player into the world of the Mafiosi and into the time of the 1920s. The task: to win the classic power games of the Mafiosi scene by any means and intimidate the opponents.
Chronos: Before the Ashes
Chronos: Before the Ashes is a bit more action-packed. Here it is the player's task to defend his home against evil. Among other things, the game's attention to detail is particularly impressive. Various darker and lighter worlds are waiting to be discovered. Thus, little by little - and especially by passing through the different stations - an individual game character develops.
Immortals: Fenyx Rising
Ubisoft sends its Immortals: Fenyx Rising into the race on December 3rd. This should be a real must-have for all fans of Greek mythology. The hero (or the player) has to save the gods from a curse and has to fight numerous dark creatures to do so. Especially interesting: many of these said beings actually exist in Greek mythology - an aspect that should make this game a bit more authentic.
Destiny 2: Beyond Light
Things get mystical in this shooter. Destiny 2: Beyond Light is about an empire, a pyramid and the frozen moon "Europa". The player's goal is to defend himself against a new power. This power is called Stasis and proves to be more devious than it seems at first glance.
There is not "only" shooting here. Rather, Beyond Light offers an exciting combination of strategy, combat and tactics. The whole thing is rounded off by a particularly detailed presentation and a rousing background story.
Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond
Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond is scheduled for release in mid-December (Dec. 11, 2020) and is set in World War II. Based on modern VR technology, the player slips into the role of an agent. Battles are recreated here in an impressively realistic way. Again and again, subtasks are waiting to be completed in order to ultimately reach the respective stage goal.
Whether in the air, on land or at sea, the game looks extremely realistic in all its facets and definitely doesn't have to hide behind its predecessors in this genre.
The Medium
Attention. The Medium is definitely not for the faint of heart and is therefore only released for players over the age of 18! The player is transported to a lonely hotel, where he has to decipher various puzzles. To do this, however, he needs a medium. The solution: he becomes one himself and from now on moves between two different worlds and thus between the living and the dead.
