The Minecraft 1.20 update brings a wealth of new features to your world. There are new blocks, tools and new creatures.

Blocks and tools

One of the new blocks in Minecraft is the bamboo mosaic, which is made from bamboo and can be used to create stairs and steps. There are also bamboo planks, which are made from bamboo blocks and can be used to create buttons, doors, fences and many other building elements.

Another new block is the crafted bookshelf, which can hold up to six books, enchanted books, written books, books and feathers or books of knowledge.

There is also the calibrated Sculk Sensor, which is a new variant of the Sculk Sensor. It allows players to filter vibrations based on their frequency and has a greater detection range of up to 16 blocks compared to the usual 8 blocks.

Other interesting blocks are the strange gravel and strange sand. Both blocks have a rougher surface than the usual sand and gravel. You can drop items with the new item from the archaeology system. To make a brush, you need a stick, a feather and a copper ingot. However, if you brush other blocks, the brush has no effect. There are also other new items such as the bamboo raft and hanging signs.

Cherry trees and wood

Update 1.20 also introduced new tree variants, including cherry leaves and cherry trunks, which are generated in cherry trees. These can be processed into cherry wood planks and cherry wood, which can be used for various tree blocks and items. In addition, there are cherry seedlings that grow into uniquely beautiful cherry trees or can also be planted in flower pots.

Creatures

New creatures have also been introduced, including the dromedary, a rideable animal with 32 health points that can be found in desert villages. There is also the Sniffer, a large passive creature that cannot spawn naturally. The sniffer is the first "ancient" creature in Minecraft. Sniffers can be fed with torch lily seeds, then they lay an egg from which new sniffers can hatch.

In addition to all these new features, advancements have been added to the game, including forging templates and armor trimmings that can be used to decorate armor and upgrade diamond armor to Netherite armor.

Overall, Minecraft update 1.20 offers a variety of interesting and exciting elements to enrich your gameplay. Now you have even more opportunities to let your creativity run wild.
