Upload savegame to Satisfactory server
With the ability to load savegames onto a game server, you can create backups of game worlds in Satisfactory and share your own gaming experience with the community on your server.
Notes on savegames at Satisfactory
- Satisfactory scores are saved locally
- Satisfactory offers every player the choice between 4 completely different worlds with their own landscapes.
- The type of landscape determines the difficulty level of the game. The grass landscape is suitable for beginners due to the flat surfaces.
- The type of world and landscape is reflected in the name of the save state:
- The Grasslands - save state:
grass-fields.sav
- The rocky deserts - save file:
rocky-desert.sav
- The northern forests - memory location:
northern-forest.sav
- The dune landscape - save state:
dune-desert.sav
- The Grasslands - save state:
- Savegames can be edited with a savegame editor and cheats can be activated.
How do I load a savegame onto my Satisfactory gameserver?
To upload your savegame, you need your save and an FTP program to connect to your game server.
Find savegame on the PC
- open the Savegames folder
C:\Users\Benutzer\AppData\Local\FactoryGame\Saved\SaveGames\
on your computer- in this folder you will find your Satisfactory saves
- copy the desired savegame
FTP connection and savegame upload
- now connect to your Satisfactory gameserver via FTP
- now navigate to the savegame folder on your server:
\Saved\SaveGames\common
- upload your local savegame to this folder
- example:
\Saved\SaveGames\common\SaveGame.sav
- example:
- restart your server, then the desired savegame will be loaded
