Among Us Hype
In the multiplayer game Among Us, ten players can play an exciting game together on the smartphone, tablet or computer and experience many varied adventures.
It doesn't always have to be a pixel battle like in Cyberpunk 2077. Tension can also be created with very simple means. The best proof of this is Among Us, which was released in 2018. For years, the 2D (!) game had a rather niche existence until a few gamers discovered it and streamed it. Since then, the game has consistently been among the top 4 most-played games on Steam.

A defective spaceship serves as the backdrop for the multiplayer game for up to ten players. The goal is actually clear: the ship must be repaired. But there is a catch. Two of them are impostors - disguised aliens - who are trying to kill the rest of the crew. The nasty thing is that the two "impostors" know each other, while the rest of the crew is in the dark. So let the assassination begin.
Of course, the Impostors only murder when no one is looking. If a corpse turns up, a war council must be held. Who was last seen in the vicinity of the not-quite-voluntarily deceased? Together they vote on who could be the impostor. If the vote is fixed, the culprit is transported out of the space lock. But always remember, the enemy is listening (or reading) and is of course ready to cause confusion and sow discord. Who is actually an innocent crew member and has somehow made himself suspicious, must always be on guard, so that he does not suddenly sniff fresh space air. Oh yes, during the war council may only be nominated one player at a time. Discussions and voting is either by text chat or if you play locally with each other with voice chat.
Actually quite clear, isn't it? For the crew members, the goal is not to get killed, and for the Impostors, the goal is to kill as many crew members as possible. The crew can win the game in two ways. First, of course, by unmasking the impostor and getting him out of the airlock. Secondly, the crew members have to complete certain tasks. Once these are all done, the game is won as well - dead teammates can still help take down the antagonists, by the way. So even if you didn't die voluntarily, you can still help your team to win the game. Of course, the Impostors try to prevent this by assassinating the crew and manipulating the ship - as inconspicuously as possible. If only two crew members are left, the game is won, as well as when the time runs out in which the tasks must be completed. By the way, there are at least one or two sabotage games in each map of the game. It's this cat and mouse gameplay that makes Among Us incredibly fun, especially in times of Lockdown with the upcoming holidays. By the way, the game randomly determines who becomes Impostor. The game is available for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series, on iOS and Android, and of course on the PC.
