Rent Deadside Server

A desolate world

The title, described by developer Bad Pixels as a hardcore multiplayer shooter, which is scheduled for release on PC on April 14, 2020, offers a setting of an extremely realistic, post-apocalyptic world that is not often served anymore, in which it is completely about human togetherness (or also against each other). A setting that deals with what the world would really be like if civilization as we know it were to come to an end. The world offers territories as you would expect: in a total of 225 square kilometers, players will find abandoned buildings, forests, a network of dilapidated streets and rivers, and remnants of the past. In order not to become too much of a pure PvP battle and to offer enough co-op possibilities, there are also NPC factions that match the regions, which you should be absolutely immune to.

Deadside

Among all the survival multiplayer shooters that deal with ominous creatures, monsters, gadgets or the undead, one game in particular stands out with its focus on the brutal reality of a civilization in shambles: Deadside.

The battle against NPCs and players

To give the game even more substance, the aforementioned NPC factions are not in the world as simple stumbling blocks that only react to the actions of players to bluntly kill them within their aggressive radius. On the contrary, the factions will pursue their own interests, which may look different depending on the affiliation of each faction, such as the cannibals of the forest, the ex-government loyalists or simply bandit gangs.Through a mission system, groups of players will be able to inform themselves when various attacks of such factions will take place in which areas. Thus, you will be able to take advantage of their movements to finally be able to go a previously besieged way or go against those factions to pick up special loot, which can then again serve as an advantage against rival real players.

Realistic gunplay

In order to make PvP particularly attractive, the developers rely on a high variety of weapons with extremely realistic ballistic behavior and damage. In the spirit of hardcore survival games, one or two well-aimed bullets are enough to cut a player from his virtual life. Especially those who like realistic battle royal games, but also appreciate MMO aspects very much, should find a nice mix of survival and realistic weapon behavior here.

Rebuilding cities and marketplaces

Since trade is as much a part of humanity and survival as the raw meat of wanderers is to well-run cannibal tribes, the developers have naturally thought of the people's efforts to return to an orderly society. These towns serve as safe zones for those who need a little time to recover from the stress of the outside world, want to re-equip, buy new equipment, or as a simple gathering place for players who want to exchange ideas with like-minded people.Building your own bases is also implemented in the game, as well as looting enemy bases. But how that will work will have to show the finished game after release. The status quo of the EarlyAccess sounds promising in any case.
