With the 1.5 update, Deadside console players will receive numerous improvements: a revised raid system, new base defenses and many quality-of-life features that significantly enhance the survival experience.
New base defenses and fairer raids
You can now reinforce your base with new barricades such as sandbags and spiked metal barriers. The raid system has also been revised: Blowtorches now deal damage to bases, while explosives are banned in safezones - making raids more fair.
Revised loot system and convenience features
The loot system has been adjusted so that you get better rewards on epic and hard missions. Medicines such as tinctures have been strengthened, and new loot spots such as "Trash Piles" offer additional opportunities to find equipment. You can now also share sleeping bags with friends and vehicles spawn without fuel, making gameplay more realistic.
Technical improvements and bug fixes
The update brings numerous technical optimizations: Disassembled items automatically end up in the inventory, and many bugs have been fixed to improve the game experience. In addition, the Scorp design has been revised and shelves in bases now have increased health points.
