Landed on a desert island, alive but without any things, it's time to take a look around. And in "Ylands" you have to think around the corner - and not only in a playful sense - because the graphics of the game are very unique and have many rough edges.
Street racing, propeller backpack and ship battles
"Ylands" is also a game where nothing seems impossible. You want to place shingles on your roof, but you don't have a ladder? No problem, if you wear a propeller backpack, you can just fly up and place your shingles that way! Besides, "Ylands" has so many different possibilities for modifications and for customizing characters and worlds that it's impossible to list them all. You want to race in old cars in the snow in a world that resembles 1880s London? That's just as possible as an Indiana Jones-style adventure with traps and treasure.But if you're more in the mood to set sail again as a pirate and interact with the community, you can do that, too. The decent amount of humor and the angular but appealing graphics make this game a little survival sandbox gem that we can only recommend.
