Install mods in Conan Exiles

Client (Steam)

1. Open Steam and navigate to the Conan Exiles Workshop
2. Choose a mod in the workshop and subscribe to it
   1. Important: Always pay attention to the mod description and the comments, if further steps are required for this mod
3. The mod will be added automatically and also updated by Steam
4. Start the game Conan Exiles
5. Select the tab Mods under Main Menu
6. Activate the mods you want to play with by moving them from the left to the center
7. Check in the game if the mods are activated correctly

Server (FTP)

1. Open Steam and navigate to the Conan Exiles 'Workshop
2. Choose a mod in the workshop and subscribe to it
   1. Important: Always pay attention to the mod description and the comments, if further steps are required for this mod
3. The mod will be added automatically and also updated by Steam
4. After downloading it, you will find the files in the directory \Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Mods\
5. Now connect to your server via FTP
6. Copy the folder of the mod and the file with the .pak extension via FTP to your server under ConanSandbox/Mods/
7. Now open the file modlist.txt in the mods folder, too
8. Enter one mod per line in this file
   1. The modname is used as indicator, so just copy the name of the .pak file
   2. Important: the order of the mods in the modlist.txt must be identical with the order in your game
9. Save the file and restart your server
