Delete savegame in Conan Exiles
All relevant information about the players on your server is saved in the save states and savegames of Conan Exiles. We will show you how to delete your savegame.
How do I delete my Conan Exiles savegame on my server?
To delete a savegame in Conan Exiles, you must access the game server with an FTP program and delete the file manually.
Which file are you looking for?
The savegame is saved under game.db. This is a save file with information about your game, i.e. all buildings that have been built on the server and, of course, the player characters.
- stop your Conan Exiles server
- connect to your game server with an FTP client
- navigate to the directory
/ConanSandbox/Saved/ - delete your savegame, i.e. the file
game.db - start the server again
- now you have successfully deleted your savegame, a new savegame will be created at startup
Delete local Conan Exiles savegame (Steam)
If you want to delete the local Conan Exiles savegame on your PC, you must open the Steam directory on your computer.
If you have not changed anything else on Steam, you will find the Conan Exiles files under the following paths
- Windows
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved - Mac OS
~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Conan Exiles/ConanSandbox/Saved - Linux
~/.steam/steam/SteamApps/common/Conan Exiles/ConanSandbox/Saved
There you will find the savegame, delete it and start the game again.
