Install mods in LS22

DLC stands for Downloadable Content and refers to downloadable content that adds additional content to the main game. They are usually subject to a charge, produced by the actual developer and can be installed in Farming Simulator 2022 via the game or the official website.

About the game
Simply open the main menu in the game. Under the menu item 'Downloadable content' you will find the official modifications and DLC content for Farming Simulator 2022.
This step is available to console and PC players.

In-game installation of mod and DLC content
Selection and installation of new content via the game
- open the game LS22
- now go to the main menu
- select the 'Downloadable content' menu
- modifications and DLC are divided into categories
- now select the desired content and click on Install
- the desired content is automatically loaded and installed in the background
- after installation, the content can be activated. A restart is not necessary
- to activate content, check the box under `Downloadable content
How do I install DLCs and mods from the Internet in LS22?
Find and download new content
- navigate on the internet to a page for LS 22 modifications or DLC's
- example: https://www.farming-simulator.com/
- select the desired content and download it
- navigate to your modification folder:
C:\Users\username\Documents\ My Games\FarmingSimulator2022\Mods - place your downloaded modification or DLC in this folder
- the mod or DLC must be in .zip format
- compress the files of the modification with a compression program if necessary
- start the game
- after you have placed the modification or DLC in the folder, you can restart the game. Changes and modifications will then be activated again under 'Downloadable content'.
