How do I delete the savegame on my 7 Days to Die server?
You can only delete the file with the savegame manually on the game server. To do this, you need access to the server files, e.g. via FTP access.
Which files do I need?
The savegame is saved in the directory /Saves/
. You may find several folders in this directory - a folder is created for each world.
Delete savegame
- stop your server and connect to it via FTP
- navigate to the folder
/Saves/
- delete the appropriate folder in
/Saves/
or even the entire/Saves/
folder - now start your 7 Days to Die server. A new savegame will now be created and a new world generated
~~{{warningbox}}If the entire /Saves/
folder is deleted, all player and map data will be deleted and the server will be completely reset.{{/warningbox}}~~~
