CryoFall is a survival game for real lovers. In the game, the avatar is in the future and has survived a disaster. Abandoned on an alien planet without anything, you rebuild a new society. From your own house to the industry, everything is built piece by piece in the foreign land. The Access-Realese of CryoFall came out already in 2019. With the Early Access in April of this year, some innovations have been added in the meantime, so there are more features and content in the game. New features now include factions, vehicles, a revised map with ruins to explore, an electricity system, fishing, world events and bosses.
As a typical survival game, you land in the future on an almost empty planet. Here you build everything you need to survive. At the beginning there is a simple house, which offers you protection. CryoFall is presented in an isometric 2D perspective and in comic graphics. You'll also develop agriculture to the point where you'll eventually be able to provide for yourself to guarantee your survival. The technical progress is to be achieved with the industry in CryoFall. So you're not only improving your avatar, but also the planet's infrastructure.
Quite classically, of course, you have to satisfy hunger and thirst, and then there are many other status effects and diseases, such as injuries, radiation and poison. To counteract the respective status, there are of course special items and medicines for it. With the right preparation, certain diseases can of course also be avoided.
CryoFall offers a very high modifiability as well as its own map editor. The game is open source and anyone can create mods and make them available to other players. You can play with up to 200 players in PVP, PVE or just alone without any enemy contact. It's all about survival in a strange world.
CryoFall is a mixture of casual games and core games. Starting with a detailed and beautiful graphics, which is nevertheless kept simple in 2D, to deadly enemies that you can but also avoid, while the game is intuitive, but also complex.
