If you like to play Battlefield with a touch of Warframe and Attack on Titan, then Leap is for you. Leap is a pure first person shooter set in a science fiction world. If you are looking for an action-packed game where you can fight battles with up to 60 other mercenaries armed to the teeth, then the game is definitely worth your money. You fight for either the United Earth Defense Coalition (UEDC) or the Exo-Terran rebel army. You're a mercenary - whoever pays better gets the contract
In the beginning there was the tutorial. Leap is no different than any other game. Before you can jump into the fray with your fellow gamers, you first learn the basics such as running, shooting and the correct use of your grappling hook (Attack on Titan sends its regards).
If you're into wacky means of transportation, you'll get your money's worth in Leap. You move through the game worlds with nice hooverboards or jetpacks. If that's not enough, just saddle up your (mechanical) moose and off you go... Each character in Leap is equipped with his own special personal vehicle. So that you are also fast with your opponent. Oh yes, apropos fighting.... Your character is able to jump meters high, so your fights are not limited to the ground.
Last but not least, there are rewards for every battle you win: there are helmet emojis and different skins for your exo-suit, your vehicle and, of course, your weapon. This way you can flaunt style and taunt your enemies. The landscapes in Leap look really great and have been designed with great attention to detail.
Your class is determined by your exo-suit. You can choose from a total of four.
The name says it all. You have heavy armor and can command equally heavy weapons. This class comes with a jetpack - because a tank wants to travel fast and stylish.
The allrounder class. Suitable for a wide range of combat situations.
The technician in the team. As the name suggests, you can carry out repairs, but also heal your comrades. On top you install as Tech Ops guns that can shoot by themselves.
If you like to hit from a distance, this is the right class for you.
By the way, Leap is not a free-to-play game. But the investment is worth it!
