Wreckfest 2 is the explosive sequel to the popular full-contact racing game series. Launched in Early Access, it delivers intense races, brutal derbies and spectacular vehicle destruction - solo or online against other players.

Wreckfest 2 focuses on the core feeling of the series: merciless races without rules. Old, battered cars race, collide and smash into each other on challenging tracks and in derbies where every race becomes a battle. Thanks to a revised physics and damage simulation, every vehicle reacts realistically to every impact.
Wreckfest 2 has been playable in Early Access on Steam since March 20, 2025. The developers want to work on the game together with the community, incorporate feedback and constantly expand it. The game is constantly growing with new vehicles, tracks, modes and features.
The Early Access version currently includes:
Solo and multiplayer races with up to 24 participants (incl. AI drivers)
Derby arenas in which destruction takes priority
Various track layouts, including junkyard and speedway courses
A large test/sandbox map for free chaos fun
Several fun rampable vehicles are available at launch, including muscle cars from the 60s/70s, European compacts from the 80s and classic 90s bangers. You can customize their colors and save your own designs in the garage area. Further drivable vehicles and options will follow with updates.
Online you can compete directly against other players or fight with them in chaotic derby arenas. Community features such as leaderboards, server favorites and improved network systems are already implemented and will be further expanded.

The developers have announced that the game will remain in Early Access for at least a year - with updates based on community feedback.
