  • A unique construction set for your base

  • New armor and weapon skins

  • Decorations and emotes for customization

Update plans until 2026

Funcom has presented a roadmap that provides a clear outlook:

  • Chapter 4 & DLC "The Water Wars": Spring 2026

One thing's for sure: Arrakis will continue to surprise you with new adventures in the coming months.

Community reactions

The reactions are mixed: While many players are happy about new content, quality-of-life improvements and the deeper storytelling, there is also criticism of cosmetic skins in the DLC. Nevertheless, it is clear that Dune: Awakening remains a topic that moves the community.

Conclusion

With Chapter 2 and "The Lost Harvest", Dune: Awakening opens a new chapter - both in terms of content and gameplay. More story, new challenges and fresh customization options make September the perfect time to dive back into Arrakis.
