In August, the world's biggest event for computer and video games is coming to Cologne again. It kicks off on August 24 and you can check out the latest developments at the games festival until August 28, 2022.

Instead of a pure computer and video games trade fair, Gamescon is to develop into a gaming festival at which e-sports, manga/anime and cosplay will also play a role alongside computer and console games.

Gamescom 2022 will kick off with an opening show on August 23, followed by the trade visitor and media day on August 24, and from Thursday to Sunday (August 25 to 28) all other visitors will be able to attend the trade fair.

Advance ticket sales started at the end of June. Please note that Gamescom tickets are only available in advance. There will be no box office. All visitors must register online with KoelnMesse and download the Gamescom ticketing app.

Confirmed exhibitors

Even if big names such as EA, Activision Blizzard, Nintendo and Sony have canceled and are therefore staying away from the trade fair, there are still some confirmations. Console manufacturers, publishers and developers from 2K, 505 Games, Aerosoft, Amazon Web Services, AMD, Assemble Entertainment, astragon Entertainment, Bandai Namco, BenQ, Daedalic Entertainment, ESL Gaming, GIANTS Software, HandyGames, HoYoverse, Humble Games, HyperX, Kalypso Media Group, Koch Media, KRAFTON, Level Infinite (Tencent), MEDION, Neowiz, NetEase Games, Pico Interactive Pte, Raw Fury, Razer, Samsung, SEGA Europe, SteelSeries, TaleWorlds Entertainment, Team17, THQ Nordic, Thunderful, TikTok, Ubisoft, Warner Bros.
