Exhibitors and games: What's new?

Numerous top exhibitors will be represented again this year. Among others, you can look forward to exciting presentations from 2K, Aerosoft, Astragon Entertainment, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Bethesda, Blizzard Entertainment, Capcom and many more. Some of the highly anticipated games you can try out are:

Monster Hunter Wilds (Capcom) Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred (Blizzard Entertainment) Gothic (Remake) and Titan Quest 2 (THQ Nordic) Dune Awakening (Funcom) Age of Mythology: Retold and Avowed (Microsoft/Xbox) Final Fantasy XIV (Square Enix) Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero (HoYoverse)

In addition to the big names, there is also a rich selection of indie games presented in the Indie Arena Booth. Here you can discover over 160 indie titles that promise creative gameplay and innovative ideas.

YouTubers and influencers: How to meet your idols

There is an important new feature this year: if you want an autograph or a selfie with your favorite creator, you must book a free time slot for the signing area in advance. You will receive a QR code that gives you access. You can book a maximum of three slots per day, but only three hours before the start of the respective autograph session. This means that it is not possible to pre-book the slots from home - planning on site is therefore necessary.

First confirmed star: Casper Van Dien (Johnny Rico from Starship Troopers) will be at Knights Peak Interactive, Hall 10.1 (Stand E021) on Thursday, August 22 at 6 pm. More YouTubers and influencers will be announced in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

Opening hours and tickets

Gamescom opens its doors on Wednesday from 10:00 to 20:00 for trade visitors and on Thursday to Friday from 10:00 to 20:00 for everyone. On Saturday you can visit the fair from 9:00 to 20:00 and on Sunday from 9:00 to 18:00.

Tickets are only available online and prices vary depending on the day. Wildcard tickets for the trade visitor and media day are available from 64 euros. Day tickets for Thursday, Friday and Sunday cost 29.50 euros, concessions 21 euros, and family tickets 65 euros. On Saturday, the price is 39 euros, concessions 30.50 euros, and family tickets cost 81.50 euros. Evening tickets are also available from 4 p.m. for 9.50 euros (Thursday to Sunday) or 11.50 euros (Saturday). Each ticket also includes a ticket for local public transport within the Rhein-Sieg transport network.
