Install Oxide at Rust

Oxide provides the basis to install additional plugins to better control your Rust server.

Install Oxide

  1. Download the Oxide mod from umod.org
  2. Unpack the downloaded archive on your computer
  3. Connect via FTP to your Rust server
  4. Copy the folder RustDedicated_Data to your server
    1. You may have to replace some files - agree with that
  5. Restart your server (new)
  6. Check if the installation was successful by typing oxide.version in the console
    1. Example output of oxide.version
