On August 27, 2024, the time had finally come: The popular pixel underground survival game Core Keeper by Pugstorm has left Early Access after two and a half years and is now available in the final version 1.0 for PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
There's a lot going on underground. Ancient caves, gigantic monsters and a huge underground system characterize Core Keeper. Now there has been a major update, "The Sunken Sea", which is now available and adds the element of water to Core Keeper.
First you awaken in an ancient cave full of creatures, treasures and resources. Here you can prove yourself with up to seven other players. Prove that you can survive. Start discovering the world of Core Keeper. Mine resources and discover incredible relics. This is how you build your base. Here you can craft new equipment and strengthen the core.
In Core Keeper, gigantic monsters are waiting for you to defeat. In the huge underground cave there are not only monsters, but also endless resources. Here you can find ore, crystals, fossils and other pieces of jewelry. So there is a lot to discover in the world of Core Keeper. The resources can be used to try out new recipes and much more.
By customizing your explorers and crafting new armor, equipment and other items, you can advance further and further into the depths of the dark cave. When you venture into the darkness, don't forget to light your torch or make a campfire. Use your pickaxe to tear down walls and collect resources. Build bridges over the incredible underground lakes and advance further and further.
You will encounter gigantic monsters in the underground caves, and if you defeat them, you will win glory. In the huge underground system you fight creatures and swap into living biomes. You will be successful if you uncover the secret of the core.
