You start out as an intrepid explorer on a small ship and explore a world that consists almost entirely of oceans. Everywhere are small islands, hidden ruins and special biomes that hold resources, dangers and secrets. Every journey can offer unexpected challenges and rewarding discoveries.
At the beginning you only have the bare essentials, but must quickly learn how to procure food, materials and equipment. Your ship is your home, means of transportation and tool at the same time. Collect resources, expand your ship and equip yourself for longer expeditions at sea.
On the islands, you will come across the remains of ancient civilizations and mystical spirits that can help you. If you solve their riddles and serve them, you will receive special abilities, rare materials or magical support that will strengthen your survival and combat skills.
Each island can be developed into a safe harbor or a productive base. Build workshops, storerooms and magical sites to use resources efficiently and protect yourself against threats from animals or enemy players. Your progress affects both you as a player and the island community.
You can experience Voyagers of Nera alone or with up to ten players. In co-op you divide up tasks: one player steers the ship, others collect resources or fight enemies. Teamwork is often the key to mastering difficult islands or defeating powerful enemies.
The game is currently in Early Access. The developers are planning regular updates, new islands, stronger enemies, additional magical elements and further cooperation mechanics. Player feedback is actively incorporated into further development so that the world of Nera is constantly growing and changing.
Voyagers of Nera offers a unique survival experience on the high seas. With a mix of exploration, base building, ship management and magical secrets, it is exciting for both solo adventurers and groups in co-op.
