Romestead: Survive, build and rule in ruined Rome

What is Romestead?

Romestead is developed by Beartwigs and published by Three Friends. It combines elements of city building, survival and RPG in a world inspired by ancient Rome. An Early Access version is currently planned for PC. The exact release date has not yet been set, but you can already add the game to your wishlist on Steam.

Gameplay & Features

• You build cities from the ground up: Farms, blacksmiths, dwellings (insulae) and workplaces such as leather workshops will be essential.

• There is a worship system ("Worship"): You can appease the gods of the Roman pantheon through quests, sacrifices or resource donations in order to unlock special technologies or bonuses.

• You set off into the wilderness: six different biomes await you, including forests, swamps, deserts, volcanic areas and a ruined city. They are home to dungeons, boss battles and mythical creatures.

• Co-op multiplayer will be possible: You can play alone or with friends, which helps with building, defense and exploration together.

What you need to know now

• Romestead is in development; Early Access pending, release TBA (to be announced).

• There is already a playtest (Romestead Playtest); interested players can register and give feedback.

• System requirements are currently still moderate - it will run on Windows PC, exact details could still change.
