PC

1. Connect to your ARK server via FTP
2. Go to the directory ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/ and open the GameUserSettings.ini file with an editor
3. In the [ServerSettings] section you will find the option AdminPassword
   1. If the option is not present, add it to the ServerSettings section
4. Set any password as value
   1. Make sure that the password is not too simple, because anyone can get admin rights with this password
5. Restart your server
6. Start ARK e.g. via Steam
7. Connect (e.g. via Steam) to your ARK server
8. Open the console with Tab key
9. Type in the console enablecheats YOURPASSWORD with your set password and confirm with Enter

Tip: To avoid logging in every time you can create a text file AllowedCheaterSteamIDs.txt in the folder ShooterGame/Saved/. Save there per line one Steam64-ID your admins.
