Iron golems in Minecraft
Iron golems are powerful guardians that protect villages from enemy mobs. They can spawn automatically or be built by the player and are also suitable for iron farms.
Properties

Lives - 100 (50 hearts)

Attack Power - 7-21 damage (depending on difficulty and target)
Behavior:

Attack enemy mobs such as zombies, skeletons and illagers

Attack players when they hurt or provoke villagers

Do not attack creepers
Spawn conditions
Natural:
-
In villages with at least 3 villagers and 1 unoccupied bed

The villagers must have recently worked, slept and felt fear (e.g. from a zombie)
Player creation:

4 iron blocks in a T shape + 1 carved pumpkin or jack-o'-lantern on top

Requires free space around the structure
Behavior & Mechanics

Move slowly, but can climb over 1-block obstacles

Grab with melee attack, fling opponents into the air

Neutral stance towards players until provoked

Can be repaired by "feeding" them iron ingots (right-click)

Tips

Build iron farms with villagers and beds to produce golems regularly

Protect villagers to encourage natural golem spawns

Keep your distance if you accidentally hit a villager - golems remember that!
Trivia

Iron golems can give flowers to baby villagers
